Seminars on Food Safety Standards

BRC Food
IFS Food
EUREPGAP / GLOBALGAP
Dutch HACCP
ISO 22000

Each standard on Food Quality and Safety has different requirements for documentation, monitoring, risk analysis, traceability, allergen monitoring, GMO handling et cetera. The major European Food Retailers require that their suppliers work with one or more of these standards.

Unfortunately, choosing and implementing the food safety system that best suits a specific company, is not easy. The INPLISTA-consortium aims to support small to medium size enterprises (SMEs) in the food sector with this choice by organising:

  • Food safety standards seminars in 13 countries (Sweden, Ireland, Czech Republic, Spain, Austria, Greece, Slovenia, Poland, Hungary, Germany, Netherlands, Italy and Romania). These seminars will provide companies with information in their native language. They will take place between December 2007 and August 2008.
  • Food sector-specific seminars for three major sectors: meat processing, dairy, and fruit & vegetables, These seminars will be organised in the native language of six European countries (Hungary, Slovenia, Poland, Greece, Romania, Czech Republic) and will take place around November 2008.
  • Food issues-specific seminars on allergens, GMO handling, and food traceability. These seminars will be organised in the native language of six European countries (Hungary, Slovenia, Poland, Greece, Romania, Czech Republic) and will also take place around November 2008.

The seminars are free of charge. We invite SME food companies to participate in these seminars. This is not only a good opportunity to get information about food standards, but also to come into contact and share experiences with other food SMEs. The seminars offer the opportunity for you to interact with the experts in open discussions and training in food standards and specific issues relating to food sectors and food issues.

If you are interested in participating, please contact Jessica Wildner (jwildner (at) ttz-bremerhaven.de), ttz Bremerhaven, or the national INPLISTA representative in your country.
